Operational workflow for copyright complaints, action and appeals.
Scope
Paste a Clip does not maintain a permanent user-video library; it dynamically resolves authorized public links and media is normally delivered from a third-party CDN.
Submit a complaint
Send a signed notice to [email protected] identifying the copyrighted work, source URL, affected Paste a Clip URL, your contact details, authority/ownership statement, good-faith statement and accuracy statement.
Review and action
We assign a unique case ID, check completeness and, for resources we control, may remove, disable, purge cache, noindex or block. Initial acknowledgement target is 2 business days and substantive response target is 7 business days, subject to complexity and law.
Appeal and repeat infringement
A counter-notice or appeal must include the case ID, identity/contact, affected resource, explanation, authority, good-faith and accuracy statements, and signature. Repeated substantiated infringement may result in blocking. Case records are retained 90 days after closure unless legally held.
Product limitations
- Use only content you own or are authorized to process.
- The service does not bypass login, cookies, tokens, regional restrictions, or platform security controls.
- Not every link or media option will be available.
- Download without watermark when available; the option may depend on the video, provider response, and applicable rights. Automatic download and permanent link availability are not guaranteed.
- Available options come from the current provider response and open directly in the browser.
